1.2 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a grant to the North Branch
1.3 Area Hockey Association.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; NORTH BRANCH AREA HOCKEY ASSOCIATION.
1.6 $5,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
1.7of employment and economic development for a grant to the North Branch Area Hockey
1.8Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, for the design, construction, and equipping
1.9of the Stacy Ice Arena in Chisago County. This appropriation is available until the project
1.10is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642. This is a onetime
1.11appropriation.
