1.2 relating to labor; requiring overtime pay on holidays; amending Minnesota Statutes​
1.3 2024, section 177.25, by adding a subdivision.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 177.25, is amended by adding a subdivision​
1.6to read:​
1.7 Subd. 1a.Holidays.Work performed by an employee on a holiday as defined in section​
1.8645.44, subdivision 5, must be compensated by the employer at a rate of at least 1-1/2 times​
1.9the regular rate of pay at which the employee is employed.​
