1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for the YMCA of the North
1.3 in the city of St. Paul.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. YMCA OF THE NORTH; APPROPRIATION.
1.6 $4,500,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
1.7of employment and economic development for a grant to YMCA of the North to design,
1.8construct, furnish, and equip a Child and Family Wellbeing Center of Excellence to be
1.9located in the Hamline-Midway neighborhood of St. Paul. This is a onetime appropriation
1.10and is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes,
1.11section 16A.642.
1.12 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
