1.2 relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money for Mixtape Strategy.
1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.4 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; MIXTAPE STRATEGY.
1.5 $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund
1.6to the commissioner of administration for a grant to the Mixtape Strategy to preserve and
1.7revitalize the historic Black neighborhood of Camdentown. Money must be used to build
1.8a cultural hub at a property located at 44th Avenue North, Minneapolis, that has community
1.9gathering spaces and that focuses on fostering collaboration and innovation by empowering
1.10small, diverse businesses.
