| 7 | 7 | | 1.7 (a) $500,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $500,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from |

| 8 | 8 | | 1.8the general fund to the commissioner of higher education for immediate transfer to Wallin |

| 9 | 9 | | 1.9Education Partners to support programming focused on college admission and college |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 1.10graduation for low-income students, including financial aid, advising, and career |

| 11 | 11 | | 1.11development. |

| 12 | 12 | | 1.12 (b) This appropriation must be used by Wallin Education Partners only for programs |

| 13 | 13 | | 1.13supporting students who are residents of Minnesota and attending colleges or universities |

| 15 | 15 | | 1.15 (c) By February 1 each fiscal year that Wallin Education Partners receives an |

| 16 | 16 | | 1.16appropriation, Wallin Education Partners must report to the chairs and ranking minority |

| 17 | 17 | | 1.17members of the legislative committees and divisions with jurisdiction over higher education |

| 18 | 18 | | 1.18and early childhood through grade 12 education on activities funded by this appropriation. |
