55 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
66 1.6 Section 1. [325F.997] ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND DYNAMIC PRICING;​
77 1.7PROHIBITION.​
88 1.8 (a) For the purposes of this section, "artificial intelligence" means a machine-based​
99 1.9system that, for an explicit or implicit objective, infers from the inputs the system receives​
1010 1.10how to generate outputs, including content, decisions, predictions, or recommendations,​
1111 1.11that are capable of influencing physical or virtual environments.​
1212 1.12 (b) A person is prohibited from using artificial intelligence to adjust, fix, or control​
1313 1.13product prices in real time based on market demands, competitor prices, inventory levels,​
1414 1.14customer behavior, or other factors a person may use to determine or set prices for a product.​
1515 1.15 (c) The attorney general may enforce this section under section 8.31.​
