1.2 relating to housing; requiring that certain bills be referred to the legislative
1.3 committees with jurisdiction over housing finance and policy; proposing coding
1.4 for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 3.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. [3.193] REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW REGULATIONS ON HOUSING.
1.7 If a bill would increase the cost of residential construction or remodeling by $3,000 or
1.8more per unit, the bill must be referred to the legislative committees and divisions with
1.9jurisdiction over housing finance and policy.
