1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; AFRICAN CAREER EDUCATION AND
1.6RESOURCE, INC.
1.7 $250,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $250,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the
1.8arts and cultural heritage fund to the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Humanities Center
1.9for grants to African Career Education and Resource, Inc. for programming; public education
1.10classes, events, and forums; community outreach and engagement; and cultural events and
1.11classes to teach the public about the historical, cultural, and folk arts heritage of African
1.12Minnesotans.
