1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to transportation; establishing a speed limit on a segment of Beltrami
1.3 County State-Aid Highway 20; amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 169.14,
1.4 by adding a subdivision.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 169.14, is amended by adding a subdivision
1.7to read:
1.8 Subd. 5k.Beltrami County State-Aid Highway 20.Notwithstanding any provision to
1.9the contrary in this section, the speed limit on Beltrami County State-Aid Highway 20 is
1.1030 miles per hour from the intersection with Beltrami County State-Aid Highway 21 to the
1.11entrance to Lake Bemidji State Park. The county engineer must erect appropriate signs
1.12displaying the speed limit.
1.13 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment. The
1.14new speed limit is effective when the required signs are erected.
