1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.4 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; STATE PATROL.
1.5 $7,200,000 in fiscal year 2025, $2,900,000 in fiscal year 2026, and $2,900,000 in fiscal
1.6year 2027 are appropriated from the trunk highway fund to the commissioner of public
1.7safety for staff and equipment costs of additional State Patrol troopers.
1.8 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
