1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; EMERGENCY FAMILY SHELTER OPERATIONS
1.6AND PROGRAMMING.
1.7 $....... in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
1.8human services for a grant to Interfaith Action for operations and programming costs. Money
1.9may be used for shelter operations, case management, staffing, on-site support services,
1.10and programming to promote stability and self-sufficiency for families experiencing
1.11homelessness. This is appropriation is available until June 30, 2027.
