8 | 8 | | 1.8 Subd. 6.Grants management training.(a) The commissioner must develop an online, |

9 | 9 | | 1.9on-demand grants management training program for state agency staff. At a minimum, the |
---|
10 | 10 | | 1.10training must: |
---|
11 | 11 | | 1.11 (1) include curriculum necessary for grants management managers and supervisors to |
---|
12 | 12 | | 1.12properly and effectively manage a grants management program and for employees to |
---|
13 | 13 | | 1.13effectively perform job duties; |
---|
14 | 14 | | 1.14 (2) include instruction on the state's grants management policies; |
---|
15 | 15 | | 1.15 (3) include instruction on fraud indicators; and |
---|
16 | 16 | | 1.16 (4) require an exam that demonstrates an understanding of the skills, knowledge, and |
---|
17 | 17 | | 1.17responsibilities presented in the training. |

18 | 18 | | 1.18 (b) All state agency staff assigned grant management responsibilities must complete |
