                            1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to education finance; authorizing Independent School District No. 720,​
1.3 Shakopee, to qualify under the long-term facilities maintenance revenue program​
1.4 as a district eligible for alternative facilities revenue; amending Laws 1999, chapter​
1.5 241, article 4, section 25, subdivision 3, as added.​
1.6BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.7 Section 1. Laws 1999, chapter 241, article 4, section 25, subdivision 3, as added by Laws​
1.82011, First Special Session chapter 11, article 4, section 7, is amended to read:​
1.9 Subd. 3.Independent School District No. 284, Wayzata; Independent School District​
1.10No. 720, Shakopee.(a) Independent School District No. 284, Wayzata, is eligible for the​
1.11alternative facilities revenue program under Minnesota Statutes 2011, section 123B.59, for​
1.12the purposes of financing school facilities in the district.​
1.13 (b) Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, beginning in fiscal year 2027, Independent​
1.14School District No. 720, Shakopee, is a qualifying alternative facilities district for purposes​
1.15of long-term facilities maintenance revenue under Minnesota Statutes, section 123B.595.​
1.16 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective for fiscal year 2027 and later.​
