1.2 relating to natural resources; appropriating money for a grant to Forgotten Heroes
1.3 Ranges and Retreat.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; FORGOTTEN HEROES RANGES AND RETREAT.
1.6 $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the environment and natural resources
1.7trust fund to the commissioner of natural resources for a grant to Forgotten Heroes Ranges
1.8and Retreat, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to predesign, design, construct, furnish, and
1.9equip a new shooting range and retreat to accommodate handicapped individuals and disabled
1.10veterans. This appropriation is available until the project is completed or abandoned. This
1.11is a onetime appropriation.
