| 8 | 8 | | 1.8 Subd. 6.Report to legislature.No later than December 1, 2025, and annually thereafter, |

| 9 | 9 | | 1.9the authority must provide a report to the chairs and ranking minority members of the |

| 10 | 10 | | 1.10committees in the senate and house of representatives with jurisdiction over agriculture on |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 1.11the beginning farmer loans under this section. The report must include: |

| 12 | 12 | | 1.12 (1) background information on beginning farmers in Minnesota and any other information |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 1.13that the authority finds relevant to evaluating the effect of the loans on increasing |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 1.14opportunities for and the number of beginning farmers; |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 1.15 (2) the number and amount of loans; |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 1.16 (3) the geographic distribution of loans by county; |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 1.17 (4) the number of borrowers who are emerging farmers, as defined by section 17.055, |

| 18 | 18 | | 1.18subdivision 1; |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 1.19 (5) the number of borrowers who were experiencing limited land access or limited market |

| 20 | 20 | | 1.20access when the loan was issued; |
