1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to state government; appropriating money for certain legal fees and
1.3 expenses.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; LEGAL FEES.
1.6 $900,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the Campaign
1.7Finance and Public Disclosure Board if an order granting plaintiff's motion for fees and
1.8expenses is filed in Minnesota Chamber of Commerce v. Choi (23-CV-02015). The Campaign
1.9Finance and Public Disclosure Board must pay, on behalf of all defendants, all fees and
1.10expenses awarded to the plaintiff. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until June
1.1130, 2026.
