1.2 relating to human services; appropriating money for the Minnesota Age in Place
1.3 Network.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; AGE WELL AT HOME.
1.6 $3,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
1.7of human services for a grant to Age Well at Home to establish the Minnesota Age in Place
1.8Network. Eligible uses of grant money are providing home modifications and safety
1.9renovations at the owner-occupied homes of older low- to moderate-income homeowners.
1.10No single modification or renovation project may exceed $20,000. Age Well at Home may
1.11also use up to ten percent of the grant money for administrative expenses attributable to
1.12establishing, expanding, and maintaining the Minnesota Age in Place Network.
