1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for wastewater infrastructure
1.3 on the Red Lake Reservation.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; RED LAKE BAND OF CHIPPEWA INDIANS;
1.6WASTEWATER INFRASTRUCTURE.
1.7 $3,300,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the Public
1.8Facilities Authority for a grant to the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians to construct a
1.9wastewater stabilization pond and associated water and sewer line infrastructure for the
1.10Little Rock District on the Red Lake Reservation. This appropriation is onetime and is
1.11available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section
1.1216A.642.
1.13 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
