| 6 | 6 | | 1.6 $450,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $450,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the |

| 7 | 7 | | 1.7workforce development fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development |

| 8 | 8 | | 1.8for grants to Ambassadors of Culture, Hooyo Hour, and United Way of Central Minnesota |

| 9 | 9 | | 1.9to work collaboratively in providing workforce development services for diverse |

| 10 | 10 | | 1.10communities, particularly young adults, mothers from immigrant backgrounds, and youth |

| 11 | 11 | | 1.11from East African communities. The services must focus on enhancing skills, education, |

| 12 | 12 | | 1.12and employment opportunities through job training, job coaching, employer engagement, |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 1.13and career coaching. This is a onetime appropriation. Of this amount: |

| 14 | 14 | | 1.14 (1) $150,000 each year is for a grant to Ambassadors of Culture; |
