55 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
66 1.6 Section 1. [103F.226] PUBLIC ROAD END; PROHIBITED USE.​
77 1.7 Subdivision 1.Definition.For purposes of this section, "public road end" means the​
88 1.8terminus at a lake, pond, flowage, river, or stream of a road that is lawfully open for use by​
99 1.9the public.​
1010 1.10 Subd. 2.Prohibition.A public road end must not be used for any of the following unless​
1111 1.11a recorded deed, recorded easement, or other recorded dedication expressly provides​
1212 1.12otherwise:​
1313 1.13 (1) constructing, installing, maintaining, or using boat hoists or boat anchorage devices;​
1414 1.14 (2) mooring or docking a boat between midnight and sunrise;​
1515 1.15 (3) activity that obstructs ingress to or egress from the body of water; or​
1616 1.16 (4) constructing, installing, maintaining, or using a dock or wharf other than a single​
1717 1.17seasonal public dock or wharf that is owned and maintained by a municipality or county.​
1818 1.18 Subd. 3.Enforcement.A person who violates subdivision 2 is guilty of a misdemeanor.​
1919 1.19Each day on which the violation continues or is repeated constitutes a separate offense.​
