| 6 | 6 | | 1.6 Section 1. [168.1261] DISABILITY RIGHTS AND SUPPORT PLATES. |

| 7 | 7 | | 1.7 Subdivision 1.Issuance of plates.The commissioner must issue disability rights and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | 1.8support special plates or a single motorcycle plate to an applicant who: |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 1.9 (1) is a registered owner of a passenger automobile, noncommercial one-ton pickup |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 1.10truck, motorcycle, or recreational vehicle; |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 1.11 (2) pays a fee in the amount specified for special plates under section 168.12, subdivision |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 1.125, along with any other fees required under this chapter; |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 1.13 (3) pays the registration tax as required under section 168.013; |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 1.14 (4) contributes a minimum of $30 annually to the disability rights and support account; |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 1.15and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 1.16 (5) complies with this chapter and rules governing registration of motor vehicles and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 1.17licensing of drivers. |

| 18 | 18 | | 1.18 Subd. 2.Design.In consultation with interested groups involved in services for persons |

| 19 | 19 | | 1.19with intellectual and developmental disabilities, the commissioner must adopt a suitable |
