1.2 relating to human services; appropriating money for a grant to Niyyah Recovery

1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION.
1.6 $200,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
1.7of human services for a grant to Niyyah Recovery Initiative to fund support program costs,
1.8community engagement, staffing, and targeted high-impact outreach to expand recovery
1.9services and provide critical support to individuals affected by substance use. This is a
1.10onetime appropriation and is available until June 30, 2027.
