1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to state government; designating August 19 as Minnesota Aviation Day;
1.3 proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 10.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. [10.598] MINNESOTA AVIATION DAY.
1.6 August 19 of each year is designated as Minnesota Aviation Day. From the trailblazers
1.7who dared to fly to the dedicated mechanics, controllers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders,
1.8aviation is built by the hands, hearts, and minds of those who dream big and work hard.
1.9August 19th is our state's opportunity to honor the people who have shaped Minnesota's
1.10aviation history and future. Each year, the governor must issue a proclamation honoring the
1.11observance.
