1.1 A bill for an act 1.2 relating to health; prohibiting the administration of gene-based vaccines; providing 1.3 a penalty; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 144. 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.5 Section 1. [144.063] PROHIBITION ON ADMINISTERING GENE-BASED 1.6VACCINES. 1.7 Subdivision 1.Prohibition on vaccine administration.(a) No person shall provide or 1.8administer a gene-based vaccine to another person in this state. For purposes of this section, 1.9"gene-based vaccine" means a vaccine developed using messenger ribonucleic acid 1.10technology, modified messenger ribonucleic acid technology, self-amplifying messenger 1.11ribonucleic acid technology, or deoxyribonucleic acid technology. 1.12 (b) The appropriate licensing board shall review the license of a person who administers 1.13a gene-based vaccine in violation of this section and take appropriate licensing action if the 1.14person is found to violate the requirement in this section. 1.15 Subd. 2.Penalty.A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and is 1.16subject to a fine of $500 per incident. 1Section 1.
