5 | 5 | | 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: |

6 | 6 | | 1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 120A.414, subdivision 2, is amended to read: |

7 | 7 | | 1.7 Subd. 2.Plan.A school board, including the board of a charter school, may adopt an |
---|
8 | 8 | | 1.8e-learning day plan after meeting and negotiating with the exclusive representative of the |
---|
9 | 9 | | 1.9teachers. If a charter school's teachers are not represented by an exclusive representative, |
---|
10 | 10 | | 1.10the charter school may adopt an e-learning day plan after consulting with its teachers. The |
---|
11 | 11 | | 1.11plan must include accommodations for students without Internet access at home and for |
---|
12 | 12 | | 1.12digital device access for families without the technology or an insufficient amount of |
---|
13 | 13 | | 1.13technology for the number of children in the household. A school's e-learning day plan must |
---|
14 | 14 | | 1.14provide accessible options for students with disabilities under chapter 125A. |

15 | 15 | | 1.15 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective July 1, 2025. |

16 | 16 | | 1.16 Sec. 2. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 179A.03, subdivision 19, is amended to read: |
