| 4 | 4 | | 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: |

| 5 | 5 | | 1.5 Section 1. SPECIAL LIQUOR LICENSE; CITY OF HASTINGS. |

| 6 | 6 | | 1.6 Notwithstanding any law, ordinance, charter provision, or term of any lease between |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | 1.7the city of Hastings and the state of Minnesota to the contrary, the city of Hastings may |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | 1.8issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor license as provided under Minnesota Statutes, section |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 1.9340A.404, subdivision 1, paragraph (d), for sales of wine and malt liquor on the premises |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 1.10of a ballpark occupying land that is leased by the city from the state of Minnesota. A license |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 1.11issued under this section authorizes the license holder to make the sales allowed under |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 1.12Minnesota Statutes, section 340A.404, subdivision 1, paragraph (d), at all times provided |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 1.13by law for the on-sale of intoxicating liquor in the city. The state of Minnesota must not |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 1.14enforce any term of lease number I-6390, or any similar lease agreement between the city |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 1.15and the state restricting the use of state-owned property by the city, that is inconsistent with |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 1.16the authority granted to the city and the city's on-sale licensee under this section. |

| 17 | 17 | | 1.17 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective upon approval by the Hastings City |
