44 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
55 1.5 Section 1. WASECA; SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS.​
66 1.6 Subdivision 1.Appropriation.$8,900,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund​
77 1.7to the Public Facilities Authority for a grant to the city of Waseca to design, construct, and​
88 1.8provide construction-related engineering for improvements to and replacement of sanitary​
99 1.9sewer infrastructure to reduce inflow and infiltration into the system and increase sanitary​
1010 1.10sewer system conveyance capacity, including reconstruction of the Nelson Lift Station. This​
1111 1.11appropriation includes money for reconstruction of streets, roadways, sidewalks, and other​
1212 1.12infrastructure within the project areas. This appropriation does not require a nonstate match.​
1313 1.13 Subd. 2.Bond sale.To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond​
1414 1.14proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue bonds of​
1515 1.15the state in an amount up to $8,900,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect​
1616 1.16prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota​
1717 1.17Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.​
1818 1.18 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.​
