1.2 relating to energy; prohibiting a local ban on new natural gas hookups in residential​
1.3 construction; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 326B.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. [326B.441] NATURAL GAS BAN; PROHIBITION.​
1.6 A political subdivision must not adopt local regulations prohibiting the use of natural​
1.7gas as an energy source in a residential unit after July 1, 2025.​
1.8 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.​
