5 | 5 | | 1.5 Section 1. RECONNECT RONDO PROJECT; PROHIBITION. |

6 | 6 | | 1.6 Subdivision 1.Definition.For purposes of this section, "ReConnect Rondo project" |

7 | 7 | | 1.7means the proposed land bridge or freeway cap over Interstate Highway 94 between |

8 | 8 | | 1.8Chatsworth Street and Grotto Street in the city of St. Paul. |
---|
9 | 9 | | 1.9 Subd. 2.Commissioner of transportation.The commissioner of transportation must |
---|
10 | 10 | | 1.10not expend any money for studying, planning, preliminary engineering, final design, or |
---|
11 | 11 | | 1.11construction for the ReConnect Rondo project. This prohibition includes grants to other |
---|
12 | 12 | | 1.12entities, the expenditure of federal money, and any previous unexpended appropriations |
---|
13 | 13 | | 1.13made for this purpose. |

14 | 14 | | 1.14 Subd. 3.Metropolitan Council.The Metropolitan Council must not expend any money |

15 | 15 | | 1.15for studying, planning, preliminary engineering, final design, or construction for the |
---|
16 | 16 | | 1.16ReConnect Rondo project. This prohibition includes grants to other entities, the expenditure |
---|
