1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a Sportsman's and
1.3 Sportswoman's Outdoor Development Learning Center in the city of Hibbing.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; MINNESOTA FOREST ZONE TRAPPERS
1.6ASSOCIATION.
1.7 $1,950,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
1.8of natural resources for a grant to the Minnesota Forest Zone Trappers Association for land
1.9acquisition, predesign, design, engineering, site preparation, grading, finishing, and site
1.10features for a Sportsman's and Sportswoman's Outdoor Development Learning Center in
1.11the city of Hibbing. This appropriation is onetime and is available until the project is
1.12completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
1.13 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
