1.3 refusing to enforce traffic regulations; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota
1.4 Statutes, chapter 471.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. [471.9999] LOCAL GOVERNMENTS; TRAFFIC LAW ENFORCEMENT .
1.7 A local unit of government, including a prosecutorial office or law enforcement agency,
1.8may not adopt an ordinance or policy that prohibits or restricts the enforcement or prosecution
1.9of violations of traffic laws or any specific traffic law. Any ordinance or policy in violation
1.10of this section is void.
