1.1 A bill for an act 1.2 relating to weights and measures; allowing more than one nonoxygenated gasoline 1.3 storage tank; amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 239.791, subdivision 12. 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 239.791, subdivision 12, is amended to read: 1.6 Subd. 12.Exemption for collector vehicle and off-road use.(a) A person responsible 1.7for the product may offer for sale, sell, or dispense at a retail gasoline station for use in 1.8collector vehicles or vehicles eligible to be licensed as collector vehicles, off-road vehicles, 1.9motorcycles, boats, snowmobiles, or small engines, gasoline that is not oxygenated in 1.10accordance with subdivision 1 if the person meets the conditions in paragraphs (b) to (d). 1.11If the nonoxygenated gasoline is for use in a small engine, it must be dispensed into a can 1.12with a capacity of six or fewer gallons. 1.13 (b) The nonoxygenated gasoline must be unleaded premium grade as defined in section 1.14239.751, subdivision 4. 1.15 (c) No more than one storage tank on the premises of the a retail gasoline station, or two 1.16storage tanks on the premises of a retail gasoline station if the retail gasoline station is 1.17located within five miles of a motor sports racing facility, may be used for storage of the 1.18nonoxygenated gasoline offered for sale, sold, or dispensed by the station. 1.19 (d) The pump stands must be posted with a permanent notice stating: 1.20"NONOXYGENATED GASOLINE.
