66 1.6 Section 1. BENTON COUNTY; COUNTY STATE-AID HIGHWAY 1​
77 1.7IMPROVEMENTS.​
88 1.8 Subdivision 1.Appropriation.$21,000,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds​
99 1.9fund to the commissioner of transportation for a grant to Benton County to design, engineer,​
1010 1.10construct, and reconstruct improvements and betterments of a capital nature along County​
1111 1.11State-Aid Highway 1 (Mayhew Lake Road) between 14th Avenue and 35th Street in the​
1212 1.12city of Sauk Rapids. This appropriation includes money for construction and reconstruction​
1313 1.13of six roundabouts and construction and reconstruction of County State-Aid Highway 1.​
1414 1.14This appropriation does not require a nonstate contribution.​
1515 1.15 Subd. 2.Bond sale.To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond​
1616 1.16proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue bonds of​
1717 1.17the state in an amount up to $21,000,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect​
1818 1.18prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota​
1919 1.19Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.​
2020 1.20 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.​
