                            1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to transportation; appropriating money for the I-494 Corridor Commission.​
1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.4 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; I-494 CORRIDOR COMMISSION.​
1.5 (a) $300,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $300,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from​
1.6the general fund to the commissioner of transportation for grants to the I-494 Corridor​
1.7Commission to provide programming and service expansion, including but not limited to​
1.8staffing, communications, outreach and education program development, and operations​
1.9management.​
1.10 (b) The commissioner must not retain any portion of the appropriation under this section​
1.11and must make grant payments in full by July 31 in each year. This is a onetime​
1.12appropriation.​
