                            1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to veterans; appropriating money for a grant to Forgotten Heroes Ranges​
1.3 and Retreat.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; FORGOTTEN HEROES RANGES AND RETREAT.​
1.6 $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner​
1.7of veterans affairs for a grant to Forgotten Heroes Ranges and Retreat, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit​
1.8organization, to predesign, design, construct, furnish, and equip a new shooting range and​
1.9retreat to accommodate handicapped individuals and disabled veterans. This appropriation​
1.10is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes,​
1.11section 16A.642. This is a onetime appropriation.​
