1.2 relating to economic development; appropriating money for a grant to Jobs​
1.3 Foundation.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; JOBS FOUNDATION.​
1.6 $450,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the workforce development fund to​
1.7the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Jobs Foundation​
1.8to support the Repowered workforce readiness program. Money may be used for direct​
1.9training, support services, safety enhancements, and economic support for formerly​
1.10incarcerated individuals experiencing barriers to employment. This is a onetime appropriation.​
