40 | 40 | | 2.11as a result of an individual's change of title described in paragraph (a). This paragraph applies |

41 | 41 | | 2.12to persons and entities that include but are not limited to: |
---|
42 | 42 | | 2.13 (1) hospitals or other health care facilities; |
---|
43 | 43 | | 2.14 (2) physicians; |
---|
44 | 44 | | 2.15 (3) malpractice insurance carriers; |
---|
45 | 45 | | 2.16 (4) the federal government; and |
---|
46 | 46 | | 2.17 (5) third-party payors, including but not limited to commercial insurers, health |
---|
47 | 47 | | 2.18maintenance organizations, and the Minnesota medical assistance program. |
---|
48 | 48 | | 2.19 Sec. 4. DIRECTION TO COMMISSIONERS AND BOARDS. |
---|
49 | 49 | | 2.20 The commissioners of health and human services, and health-related licensing boards, |
---|
50 | 50 | | 2.21as defined in Minnesota Statutes, section 214.01, subdivision 2, if applicable, must, as soon |
---|
51 | 51 | | 2.22as practicable in the normal course of business, make conforming amendments to active |
---|
52 | 52 | | 2.23versions of commissioner or board guidance, documents, and forms within their jurisdiction |
---|
53 | 53 | | 2.24reflecting the change of title described in Minnesota Statutes, section 147A.03, subdivision |
---|
54 | 54 | | 2.255. The commissioners and boards may take all further action necessary to reflect the change |
