1.2 relating to agriculture; creating an account in the agricultural fund for the​
1.3 agricultural growth, research, and innovation program; appropriating money;​
1.4 amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 41A.12, by adding a subdivision.​
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 41A.12, is amended by adding a subdivision​
1.7to read:​
1.8 Subd. 5.Account.An agricultural growth, research, and innovation program account​
1.9is created in the agricultural fund in the state treasury. The account consists of money​
1.10received in the form of gifts, grants, reimbursements, or appropriations from any source for​
1.11any of the purposes in subdivision 2, and any interest or earnings of the account. Money in​
1.12the account is appropriated to the commissioner of agriculture for the purposes under​
1.13subdivision 2.​
