1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; BROOKLYN PARK WORKFORCE​
1.6DEVELOPMENT .​
1.7 $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the workforce development fund to​
1.8the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of​
1.9Brooklyn Park for the city to expand the workforce development programming of Brooklyn​
1.10Park and Brooklyn Center through workforce development programs serving primarily​
1.11underrepresented populations, including such programs as Brooklynk, Career Pathways,​
1.12Youth Entrepreneurship, and Community Partnership. This is a onetime appropriation and​
1.13is available until June 30, 2028.​
