66 1.6 Section 1. [609.2248] CASTRATION OR STERILIZATION OF MINORS​
77 1.7PROHIBITED.​
88 1.8 A person who does either of the following to a person under the age of 18 years is guilty​
99 1.9of a felony:​
1010 1.10 (1) physical or chemical castration; or​
1111 1.11 (2) any surgery, procedure, or administration of drugs that results in the person being​
1212 1.12unable to conceive a child.​
1313 1.13 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective August 1, 2025, and applies to crimes​
1414 1.14committed on or after that date.​
