1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.6 Section 1. [317A.910] PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES; BAIL ABATEMENT.​
1.7 (a) A nonprofit corporation is prohibited from organizing or registering under this chapter​
1.8to engage in providing payment to a person or to a state court in order to satisfy a bail​
1.9condition determined by the court.​
1.10 (b) This section may be cited as the "Bail Abatement Nonprofit Exclusion (BANE) Act."​
