55 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
66 1.6 Section 1. [462A.44] REPORTING ON CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS.​
77 1.7 (a) In addition to collecting information on contractor requirements for a certificate of​
88 1.8compliance under section 363A.36 for projects receiving any financing under this chapter,​
99 1.9the commissioner shall also collect contractor data for veteran-owned small businesses as​
1010 1.10defined in section 16C.16, subdivision 6a, and for LGBTQ-owned businesses. For the​
1111 1.11purposes of this section, an "LGBTQ-owned business" means a business that is certified​
1212 1.12by the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce.​
1313 1.13 (b) By February 1 of each even-numbered year, the commissioner shall submit a report​
1414 1.14to the chairs and ranking minority members of the legislative committees with jurisdiction​
1515 1.15over housing finance on the public data collected by the agency in the previous calendar​
1616 1.16year under this section. At a minimum, the report must include the total number and dollar​
1717 1.17amount of all contracts and subcontracts for each business category in paragraph (a).​
