1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.6 Section 1. [471.9999] LOCAL GOVERNMENTS; TRAFFIC LAW ENFORCEMENT .​
1.7 A local unit of government, including a prosecutorial office or law enforcement agency,​
1.8may not adopt an ordinance or policy that prohibits or restricts the enforcement or prosecution​
1.9of violations of traffic laws or any specific traffic law. Any ordinance or policy in violation​
1.10of this section is void.​
