| 7 | 7 | | 1.7 Subdivision 1.Appropriation.$150,000,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | 1.8account in the trunk highway fund to the commissioner of transportation for predesign; |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 1.9design; engineering; environmental analysis and remediation; property acquisition, including |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 1.10easements; and construction of an expansion of marked U.S. Highway 169 from a two-lane |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 1.11to a four-lane divided highway between Taconite and Pengilly. |

| 12 | 12 | | 1.12 Subd. 2.Bond sale.To provide the money appropriated in subdivision 1 from the bond |

| 13 | 13 | | 1.13proceeds account in the trunk highway fund, the commissioner of management and budget |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 1.14shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an amount up to $150,000,000 in the manner, upon |

| 15 | 15 | | 1.15the terms, and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 167.50 to 167.52, |

| 16 | 16 | | 1.16and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XIV, section 11, at the times and in the amounts |

| 17 | 17 | | 1.17requested by the commissioner of transportation. The proceeds of the bonds, except accrued |
