44 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
55 1.5 Section 1. [62Q.452] CANCER; CLINICAL GENETIC TESTING AND IMAGING.​
66 1.6 Subdivision 1.Definitions.(a) For purposes of this section, the following terms have​
77 1.7the meanings given.​
88 1.8 (b) "Clinical genetic testing" means germline multigene testing for an inherited mutation​
99 1.9associated with an increased risk of cancer performed in accordance with evidence-based​
1010 1.10clinical practice guidelines.​
1111 1.11 (c) "Imaging" means evidence-based cancer imaging modalities performed in accordance​
1212 1.12with the most recent version of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN)​
1313 1.13clinical practice guidelines.​
1414 1.14 Subd. 2.Coverage.(a) A health plan must include coverage for:​
1515 1.15 (1) imaging for enrollees with an increased risk of cancer, as determined by the NCCN;​
1616 1.16and​
1717 1.17 (2) clinical genetic testing for an inherited gene mutation that is recommended by a​
1818 1.18health care provider for enrollees with a personal or family history of cancer.​
1919 1.19 (b) The coverage required by this section is not subject to cost-sharing, including but​
2020 1.20not limited to deductible, co-payment, or coinsurance.​
