77 1.7 $250,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $250,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the​
88 1.8general fund to the commissioner of children, youth, and families for a grant to Greater​
99 1.9Minneapolis Council of Churches to provide drop-in support services. Grant funds must be​
1010 1.10used to provide:​
1111 1.11 (1) hot, prepared meals and takeaway food bags that increase access to nutritious, healthy,​
1212 1.12and culturally appropriate food;​
1313 1.13 (2) hygiene supplies, including towels and washcloths, toothpaste and toothbrushes,​
1414 1.14shampoo and soap, menstrual products, and clean clothes and undergarments;​
1515 1.15 (3) hats, gloves, hand warmers, and blankets; and​
1616 1.16 (4) access to resources for housing, employment, and social services.​
