                            1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for the Innovation Hub in the​
1.3 city of Shakopee.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; INNOVATION HUB.​
1.6 $4,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner​
1.7of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Shakopee to design,​
1.8construct, furnish, and equip the Innovation Hub, which will serve as a regional workforce​
1.9training and entrepreneur incubator facility. This appropriation is onetime and is available​
1.10until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.​
1.11 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.​
