                            1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to state government; providing that certain commissions established by​
1.3 law are advisory; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 3.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. [3.99] COMMISSIONS ARE ADVISORY.​
1.6 Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, a commission established by law for a limited​
1.7purpose and duration is purely advisory.​
1.8 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective August 1, 2025, and applies to​
1.9commissions established by law on or after that date.​
