1.2 relating to campaign finance; modifying the definition of administrative action as​
1.3 it applies to the Public Utilities Commission; amending Minnesota Statutes 2024,​
1.4 section 10A.01, subdivision 2.​
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 10A.01, subdivision 2, is amended to read:​
1.7 Subd. 2.Administrative action.(a) "Administrative action" means an action by any​
1.8official, board, commission or agency of the executive branch to adopt, amend, or repeal a​
1.9rule under chapter 14. "Administrative action" does not include the application or​
1.10administration of an adopted rule, except in cases of rate setting, power plant and powerline​
1.11siting, and granting of certificates of need under section 216B.243.​
1.12 (b) Notwithstanding paragraph (a), administrative action includes the exercise of any​
1.13power or duty given to the Public Utilities Commission under statute or adopted rule.​
