1.2 relating to human services; authorizing a supplementary services rate for mental​
1.3 health facilities in Winona County; amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, section​
1.4 256I.05, by adding a subdivision.​
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 256I.05, is amended by adding a subdivision​
1.7to read:​
1.8 Subd. 1v.Supplementary services rate; Winona County.Notwithstanding the​
1.9provisions of subdivisions 1a and 1c, beginning July 1, 2025, a county agency shall negotiate​
1.10a supplementary services rate for up to 53 beds in addition to the monthly room and board​
1.11rate specified in subdivision 1, not to exceed $750 per month, including any legislatively​
1.12authorized inflationary adjustments, for a housing support provider located in Winona​
1.13County that operates five facilities that provide room and board and permanent supportive​
1.14housing services for adults living with and experiencing mental health and substance use​
1.15disorders.​
